900,000 women in the U.K. have left their jobs because of menopausal symptoms. Against the backdrop of many organisations facing challenges with recruiting and retaining good people, it has never been more important for organisations to understand the impact of the menopause, and how they can support menopausal and perimenopausal women in the workplace.

This virtual session will cover the basics of menopause health, the importance of building awareness throughout organisations and will offer practical guidance on how organisations can support executives, managers and employees.

In particular, we will discuss:

  1. What is the menopause and perimenopause and what are the common signs and symptoms, both from a physical and psychological perspective
  2. The impact it can have upon our colleagues and the wider workplace
  3. The latest legal position, including the Employment Tribunal’s current approach on menopause related claims
  4. How executives, managers and colleagues can support employees and colleagues who may be experiencing menopausal symptoms in the workplace?
