On Thursday 25 May 2017, Dr Philip Griffiths, Senior Consultant Solicitor at Berry Smith Lawyers, will be holding a breakfast seminar focusing on the implications of the new GDPR and the opportunities it brings for compliant organisations

The Data Protection Act 1998 will be replaced in the UK and across Europe by the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on May 25th 2018. The GDPR represents the biggest shake up in data protection for decades bringing new responsibilities, new roles, and substantial new penalties for non-compliance of up 20M Euros or 4% of global annual turnover, whichever is the greater.

This is the first of a number of breakfast seminars that Berry Smith will be holding to help you understand how GDPR will affect your business.
