Berry Smith secures acquisitions hat-trick for Cardo Group Limited

Berry Smith is delighted to have guided valued client, Cardo Group Limited through a double acquisition process. Cardo is making ripples in the industry, with their double acquisition of Osborne Property Services Limited and Jefferies Contractors Limited in quick succession; their third acquisition process facilitated by the Berry Smith legal team in four months.

South-east based Osborne and West Midlands based Jefferies Contractors are Cardo’s latest acquisitions, coming less than four months after the purchase of LCB Group. The two new deals pair fast growing Cardo, with two hugely successful business in their own right, paving the way for a nationwide operation, designed to fully service social housing provider’s maintenance, compliance, retrofit and decarbonisation needs.

Berry Smith worked closely with managing director, Liam Bevan and strategy director, Jane Nelson on both deals, adding value and steering the twin acquisitions through to successful completion. The team led the drafting and negotiation of the legal terms for Cardo, advising on a plethora of matters, necessitating bespoke advice from their specialist corporate, commercial, employment and property teams.
