Berry Smith advises on sale of South Wales based Computerised & Digital Security Systems (CDS)

Berry Smith are delighted to have advised the shareholders on the sale of South Wales based Computerised & Digital Security Systems (CDS) together with its group companies, Gem Security Services Limited and Blue Sky I -Tech Solutions Limited,  to Johnson Controls (JCI).

Since 1985, CDS has been at the forefront of security system technology, design, installation and integration for the United Kingdom’s public and infrastructure. CDS hold a number of leading accreditations recognised in their industry and they design and install integrated security systems at numerous nationwide locations for clients within the public, education, health, utilities, commercial and retail sectors.

CDS have decades of experience in their industry and have recently worked closely with their suppliers to identify solutions to help businesses implement effective measures to operate safely and productively during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as thermal body temperature monitoring and customer flow management solutions.

Berry Smith worked closely with the shareholders throughout to help deliver a smooth and efficient transaction. The sale will enable JCI, the global leader for smart and sustainable buildings, to extend its customer base and expand on CDS’ offerings for its projects.
