Berry Smith are delighted to have advised the Moruzzi family on the sale of the popular Mumbles-based cafe & restaurant Verdi’s to The Secret Hospitality Group.
For generations, the family-run Verdi’s café & restaurant based in Mumbles have served locals and tourists alike. They are renowned for their Italian coffees, ice-cream, cakes and authentic food. The Secret Group have now added Verdi’s to their portfolio which includes The Secret Bar and Kitchen, The Green Room and The Lighthouse.
The transaction will enable The Secret Group to carry on the Verdi’s legacy and retain their loyal customers while also increasing the number of staff.
Paul Evans, Corporate Partner, assisted by Ellen Lewis and Caitlin Rees, led the team at Berry Smith which acted on the transaction. The team worked closely with the sellers along with their financial adviser, Andrew Miller of BPU Accountants throughout the sale.
