Berry Smith is delighted to have advised on a Brand Ambassador Agreement between Marks and Spencer and Tom Kerridge for their client Brand Pilot Ltd.
Renowned Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge has partnered with M&S in a 3-year collaboration. The celebrity chef is set to initially produce delicious recipes for budget-friendly family meals using the popular ‘Remarksable’ value range from M&S.
Tom’s recipes aim to cost between £2-£3 per person and feed a family of four, often with leftovers for the following day, all coming at the perfect time as the nation looks for ways to save money now more than ever.
Dan Dowen, Senior Associate in the Commercial team at Berry Smith Lawyers, worked closely with Brand Pilot Ltd throughout the fast-paced deal, offering expert commercial advice in order to secure the best terms and facilitate the start of a great on-going relationship between the parties.
Brand Pilot acting on behalf of Tom Kerridge is delighted with the partnership and believes the collaboration between the two brands is a match made in heaven with director, Heidi Johnson-Cash adding ‘Tom is a dream to work with and his outlook, passion for creating the most delicious food coupled with his ability to communicate so exceptionally well made this an obvious choice”. Heidi goes on to say “Dan worked with me on the agreement and as usual brought his down to earth approach and ability to translate often complex legal jargon in to meaningful everyday language. He was as ever an integral part of this project”.
Dan concluded: ‘It was a pleasure to work with Heidi and the wider team on this detailed agreement with M&S and be involved at the start of a successful partnership for both parties.’
