Once again, Berry Smith has been Shortlisted for Property Law Firm of The Year

For the 6th consecutive year, Berry Smith’s Commercial Property team has been shortlisted for Property Law Firm of the Year at the Insider Wales Property Awards which will take place on Thursday 23 June 2022 at Cardiff City Hall.

Berry Smith LLP is a well-established, Cardiff based, commercial law firm comprising 11 partners and more than 75 staff, with a satellite office in Bridgend.  It is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and a member of the Legal Sustainability Alliance.

The Commercial Property team is headed by two leading individuals, partners Martin Pursall and Chris Jones who are both credited in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners legal directories. It is a strong local niche practice specialising in all aspects of commercial property work, in particular development work and commercial lending.

We aim to provide a quick and direct service in the large part on a fixed fee basis and appeal to entrepreneurial clients who value more than simply legal advice but also strategic direction on their commercial decisions.

We are on the National Procurement Service Legal Services Agreement enabling us to act for the Welsh Government, Welsh local authorities and other public sector organisations on commercial property matters. We are also on the respective panels for secured lending legal services of various commercial lending institutions including Principality Commercial, HSBC, Development Bank for Wales, Handelsbanken, Monmouthshire Building Society and Hodge Bank

The Berry Smith Commercial Property Department acts for a broad range of clients including developers, banks, investors, landlords, tenants, house builders, retailers and local authorities.
