The awards, which are set to be held on 9th September 2021 at the Mercure Holland House hotel in Cardiff, will recognise the top acquisitions, funding deals and buyouts in Wales, bringing together the businesses and individuals who made them happen.

Amongst those recognised is Berry Smith, seeing its team shortlisted for Deal of the Year for its work in respect of the sale of BBI Holdings from Exponent to Novo Holdings, for Small Business Deal of the Year for its work on the management buy-out of Just Love Food and also, Legal Team of the Year, celebrating the continued successes of its corporate finance team.

Speaking of the nominations, Berry Smith partner Paul Evans said, “We are delighted to have been nominated for these awards particularly in light of the challenges the corporate sector has faced over the previous 18 months due to Covid-19.  Throughout this period, we have continued to be extremely busy on numerous corporate deals and the nominations are a recognition of the continued hard work and dedication of the Team.”

Working with a range of clients across a variety of sectors, Berry Smith is one of Wales’ leading independent law firms.

Over the last 12 months, the firm has been responsible for a wide range of corporate transactions, working alongside local, national and international businesses across a wide range of sectors.
