As sadly the level of relationship breakdown increases, whilst still considered somewhat unromantic, such agreements are becoming more and more popular as securing the financial position in the event that the relationship does breakdown in the future.
Although not automatically binding on the Court, they are good evidence of intentions and are increasingly being given more weight by the Courts.
