Nigel Greenaway
Nigel is a partner in the Transaction and Business Services Department, specialising in corporate finance work, particularly mergers and acquisitions.
Nigel joined Berry Smith in 1997, and at the age of 28 became the youngest ever partner of the business in 2002. Nigel has led the corporate team on numerous large transactions and frequently advises his extensive SME client base on corporate and commercial issues.
Nigel is personally cited in the Legal 500 and Chamber and Partners as a leading individual within his specialist area. The corporate finance unit is praised for its “exceptional service” to clients by Chambers, with Nigel lauded as being “absolutely fantastic” by the same publication.
Recent and published transactions include:
- Lead adviser to Brecon Pharmaceuticals on its £42,000,000 sale to Amerisource Bergen Corporation;
- Lead Adviser to Ticketline Holdings on its acquisition of Ticketline UK;
- Lead Adviser to Argent Independent Steel on its acquisition of ThyssenKrupp Service Centre;
- Lead Adviser to RLJ Consultancy on the sale of its twelve pharmacy strong chain to The Co-operative Pharmacy group;
- Lead Adviser to Invacare UK on its group reorganisation
