Katie McColgan

Kate is a partner at Berry Smith and is the head of the Family Department. She joined us in 1986 following her graduation from the University of Leicester (LLB Law 2:1). Renowned for her outstanding people skills and great diplomacy, Kate is an accredited member of Resolution.

Since joining us, Kate quickly became an authority in her chosen field: she is chair of Family Mediation (South Wales) Limited (the first family mediator in the region) and is a respected columnist in Kids Come First magazine. Kate is also a former South Wales representative for the National Interdisciplinary Forum.
